This Privacy Policy explains what information Sarah Munnings Jewellery collects, why it is collected, how it may be used or shared, and the choices you have about your information.

Sarah Munnings Jewellery is committed to handling personal information responsibly and, where applicable, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

The information I collect depends on how you interact with Sarah Munnings Jewellery.

Some Sarah Munnings Jewellery workshops are available to children and young people.

For bookings involving minors, information may be provided by a parent, guardian, school, organisation or group coordinator.

I aim to collect only the information reasonably necessary to manage the booking, communicate with the responsible adult and provide the workshop safely.

Where sensitive information about a child is required, appropriate consent will be sought from a parent, guardian or authorised organisation where required.

How is personal information collected?

I generally collect information directly from you when you:

  • book a workshop

  • complete a website form

  • contact me by email, telephone or social media

  • request a quote

  • commission custom jewellery

  • sign up for emails or newsletters

  • attend an event or workshop

  • make a wholesale enquiry or order

Information may also be provided to me through a booking organiser, school, workplace, parent or guardian where they are arranging a service on your behalf.

When a booking or purchase is made through another platform, such as ClassBento or Shopify, that platform may collect information directly from you and provide Sarah Munnings Jewellery with the information needed to fulfil your booking or order.

Those organisations also handle information according to their own privacy policies.

Browsing anonymously

You can browse my websites without telling me who you are.

In some circumstances you may also be able to make a general enquiry without providing your full identity.

However, I will need enough information to identify and contact you where this is necessary to fulfil an order, make a booking, issue an invoice, arrange delivery or provide a particular service.

How long is information kept?

  • what information was involved, if known

  • how you would like the issue resolved

I will take your concern seriously and aim to respond within a reasonable period, generally within 30 days.

If the Privacy Act applies to the matter and you are not satisfied with my response, you may be entitled to make a complaint to the:
